Corrections and right of reply
If something published here is inaccurate, send the reference and the correction you propose, with a source. Corrections are published with a visible dated note. If you are the subject of criticism on this site and want to reply, we will consider publishing your reply alongside the material. Accurate material is not removed.
Challenging a claim status
The most useful correspondence this publication receives. Send the claim, the status you think is wrong, and the evidence. Statuses are drawn from a published vocabulary and the reasoning is on the page, so a disagreement can usually be located precisely. Where a challenge succeeds, the status changes and the change is recorded.
Register and sponsorship
Read criteria and rates before applying for a register entry, and newsletter and sponsorship before enquiring about a sponsor line. Both pages set out the requirements, the price and the limits, and neither is negotiable.
What will not receive a reply
- Requests for a link, a mention or a product review. See what we refuse to sell.
- Offers of guest articles, sponsored posts or content partnerships.
- Requests to be added to a list of best products, which does not exist.
- Requests for individual advice about your skin, which we are not able to give. Speak to a pharmacist, your GP or a dermatologist.
